New research seminar: The "Brown Bag" seminar

The WFI is delighted to announce the start of a new research seminar in the summer term 2018. The “Brown Bag“ seminar at WFI gives high-profile researchers from different research fields in business administration and economics the opportunity to present their work. All participants will have the chance to discuss research papers with the authors and to meet fellow researchers from similar or entirely different fields. Members of the faculty as well as renowned international guests are invited to present their work in the seminar.

The “Brown Bag“ seminar at WFI gives high-profile researchers from different research fields in business administration and economics the opportunity to present their work. All participants will have the chance to discuss research papers with the authors and to meet fellow researchers from similar or entirely different fields. Members of the faculty as well as renowned international guests are invited to present their work in the seminar.

The Brown Bag Seminar is also part of the doctoral studies at WFI. Participation is on a voluntary basis and credited (participation in 4 seminars will earn 1 ECTS point; a maximum of 2 ECTS points can be recognized for the area of Key Qualifications).

The Brown Bag Seminar welcomes PhD students, postdocs, professors and interested graduate and undergraduate students from all scientific backgrounds. There are four sessions per term, each of them on Wednesday from 12:15 to 13:45 (a lecture of 45 minutes followed by a 45-minute discussion); presentations are in English.
