In the forthcoming book Inquiry-Based Learning for Arts, Humanities and Social Sciences Programs: A Conceptual and Practical Resource for Educators, Claudius Bachmann argues for an inquiry-based learning approach as a way of introducing the concept of practical wisdom into management education. Dealing with the issue of ‘Can practical wisdom be taught in business schools?’ he not only provides a theoretical introduction into the topic of practical wisdom and IBL. By describing the MA-thesis program of our project as a successful example of these ideas in application he also proposes concrete suggestions of how to facilitate the growth of practically wise competencies.
