Under the headline „Praktische Klugheit in der Führungskräfteausbildung“ (Practical Wisdom in Management Education) Prof. Habisch answers the guiding question „Werte oder Soft Skills?” (Values or Soft Skills?) asked by the current edition of the German journal Wirtschaft & Beruf (04.2013 | 65. Jahrgang | S. 12-17). In his article, Habisch contrasts a more technical and instrumental management education which focusses on soft skills with a holistic and value-based education related to the humanistic tradition which aims for practical wisdom. Voting for this value-centered kind of education, Habisch points out the Principles for Responsible Management Education (info) as an adequate educational instrument for a necessary realignment in business schools.
