The Chair of Service Management at the DLM Workshop in Berlin

Jannes Marquardt and Kristina Bramstaedt presented their current research on predictability in autonomous services and the impact of agentic AI on brand safety at this year’s DLM Workshop.

Last week, the Chair of Service Management participated in the DLM Workshop (Workshop Dienstleistungsmarketing) hosted by Andreas Eggert and his team at Freie Universität Berlin.

Our team contributed with two presentations:

  • Jannes MarquardtEnhancing Consumer Predictability in Autonomous Service Journeys
  • Kristina Bramstaedt (supervised by Prof. Dr. Jens Hogreve) – Brand Safety in the Agentic Era: Addressing Liquid Consumption Challenges in AI-Mediated Markets

As always at DLM Workshop, both talks received high-quality and constructive feedback in a lively discussions among participants. Beyond presenting our own projects, we gained valuable insights into cutting-edge service research from other scholars in the field. The great organization of the workshop also fostered meaningful interactions and conversations with the other participants in the beautiful environment of the Harnack Haus.

A highlight of the event was a private tour of the Freie Universität Berlin campus, guided by Michael Kleinaltenkamp, which offered a special perspective on the academic environment at FU and gave interesting insights into the rich history of the university and its campus.
