From November 4 – 15, 2019, Mathew Manoj, PhD, from the Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies will be visiting WFI as an Audi guest professor.
Manoj Mathew holds a Ph.D in Management from School of Management Studies, Cochin University of Science and Technology, Kerala, masters‘ degrees in Economics (Calicut University) and Personnel Management (Mahatma Gandhi University) as well as an FDP from Indian Institute of Management – Ahmedabad. He started his career in industry as a Human Resource Management professional and worked with companies such as AVT McCormick and Amalgam Foods Ltd for five years before joining academics. He teaches core and specialization papers in the area of HRM and OB along with the additional responsibility of heading Office of Corporate relations of the Institute. He regularly conducts MDPs and takes up consultancy assignments in the areas of Human Resource Management and Organisational Behaviour for corporate clients from India and abroad such as Bank Muscat, NEC Japan, Mahindra Satyam, Dubai Port World, Jayanti Group, Synthite Industries Ltd, KMML, TELK etc. Dr. Manoj has been a visiting international scholar at Western Michigan University, Michigan State, USA and School of Business, Assumption University, Thailand.
The Rajagiri Business School (RBS) at the Rajagiri Centre for Business Studies (RCBS) has been an active partner for student exchange since 2013. The further development of this program culminated in the development of a double degree program, which has been launched in winter term 2015/16. One of the main objectives of the double degree program is the demanding international and intercultural education in the field of business administration. The teaching of cultural competences in the Indian cultural sphere is not only a by-product, but a core task of the project alongside the teaching of business management knowledge. The cooperation also includes the exchange of lecturers. Mathew Manoj, PhD will give lectures on "Corporate Social Responsibility in the Context of India" as part of the lecture "Strategic Management". The lecture is designed to enable students to convey concepts and instruments of strategic management in such a way that they can use them in a variety of ways. This possibility is given to them with the guest lectures of Manoj Mathew.
