Regionals Champions – KICC 2019!

WFI Student Team Wins 1st Place in the Regionals of the KPMG Innovation & Collaboration Challenge  # KICC2019  in Munich Beating tough competition from four other teams including those from LMU, TUM, and Bocconi, our team of four all-star WFI students qualified for the National finals in Berlin. The  KPMG  Challenge was, "What innovations would help empower people in disadvantaged communities in your country to take control of their own health and well-being?" The team, consisting of WFI Bachelor students  Margareta GratiiMarc HelmersPascal Linz  and  Moritz Nusser - was put together by the Chair of Innovation and Creativity. The team picthed a financial mindfulness app to reduce financial stress and enhance financial decision-making of refugees recently granted asylum in Germany. Only three students from our team could attend the National round in Berlin, owing to one team member's illness. Desipte the reduced size of the team, they put up a tough fight in Berlin, barely missing the cut for the international round.
