In the autumn, children of KU members were able to participate in two holiday programmes, during the autumn holidays and on the Day of Repentance and Prayer.

The programmes were designed for children aged six to twelve.

In the autumn holidays, a Halloween craft activity was first on the agenda. Among other things, zombie hands and mummy lights were created. On the second day of the programme, students from the AK Wetterschau agreed to show the children the KU weather station. On an excursion to Ingolstadt, the children visited the Science Gallery and took a guided tour on the topic of "sustainability". In addition, the robotics laboratory at the Ingolstadt University of Applied Sciences (THI) opened its doors. At the end of the holiday programme, there was a cosy cinema morning with the film "The School of Magical Animals 2".

On the Day of Prayer and Repentance, Dr. Schumm from the KU's biology didactics department and students offered a hands-on workshop on the topic of "What apples, corn and chestnuts have in common". The children got to know the iLab of the KU, an innovative learning laboratory at the KU.

We would like to thank all participants and supervisors for their commitment - and of course especially the children for their interest and participation! We are already looking forward to the Whitsun holidays, when the next holiday programme will take place!
