During the Whitsun holidays, KU offered a holiday programme for children of employees and students. With a colourful mix of events and offers in the Eichstätt and Ingolstadt region, the children had a lot of fun!

The holidays began with a visit to the Altmühltal Nature Park Centre, where fossil forging was on the agenda. In the first week of the holidays, the children also learned how to tame stinging nettles during a herb hike and undertook a GPS treasure hunt around Willibaldsburg Castle. They also had a chance to let off some steam during a visit to the bouldering hall in Ingolstadt.

In the second week, the Bayernlab in Eichstätt provided an insight into the technologies of the future - and a visit to Willibaldsburg Castle took the group back to the Middle Ages. A visit to the Eichhorn sheep farm in Schernfeld was also on the programme.

We would like to sincerely thank the participating children, the organisers and especially our supervisors!
