Vacation program
In 2026, we are planning vacation programs for the first week of the Whitsun vacations (26.5. to 29.5.2026), the autumn vacations (2.11. to 6.11.2026) and the Day of Prayer and Repentance (18.11.2026). Children between the ages of 6 and 12, at least one of whose parents is studying or working at KU, can participate.
Registration for the fall break program and the Day of Repentance and Prayer in 2026 is now open!
You can register your child or children using the forms linked below.
Fall Break 2026
We have planned the following program for the fall break:
- Monday, November 2: Wildlife in Winter – Learn interesting facts about how animals live during the cold season
- Tuesday, November 3: From Field to Plate – Discover and enjoy agriculture
- Wednesday, November 4: Winter Rally – A colorful journey through nature
- Thursday, November 5: City tour for kids – Discover Eichstätt and learn new things about the city
- Friday, November 6: Morning movie: Forgotten Island
The participation fee is €20 per day for children of employees and €10 per day for children of students (including lunch in the cafeteria). Childcare is available daily from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.; on Fridays, it ends at 2 p.m.

Day of Repentance and Prayer 2026
On the Day of Repentance and Prayer, the Biology Department opens its doors, and the children get to try their hand at being researchers. Afterward, they can burn off some energy on the obstacle course at the sports center. We’ll go to the cafeteria for lunch.
Participation in the Day of Repentance and Prayer vacation program is free of charge.
