The “G-Forum” is the interdisciplinary annual conference of the association “FGF - Forschungsnetzwerk Entrepreneurship, Innovation und Mittelstand e.V.” and will be held for the 27th time this year. Prof. Dr. Harald Pechlaner, Chair of Tourism and Head of the Center for Entrepreneurship at the KU, and Prof. Dr.-Ing. Daniel Großmann from the THI will preside over the conference.
The main topic of the conference is "Entrepreneurship and transformation – sustainability in times of fundamental change". In view of the strong presence of crises and changes in public discourse ("crisis mode" was even selected as the word of the year 2023 by the German Language Society), the organizers are striving for a constructive view of the future. Key questions of the program include: What are the consequences of the fundamental change processes for established SMEs and for start-ups? How can successful entrepreneurial action be achieved in these turbulent times? To what extent can entrepreneurship enable and support transformation in business, society and politics?
The two renowned keynote speakers will also cover the range of topics relating to future-oriented and transformation-conscious entrepreneurial action: Prof. Dr. Sandra Rothenberger (Université libre de Bruxelles & Managing Director of Dr. Helmut Rothenberger Holding GmbH) will speak on "Tradition – Transformation – Innovation: Five Practical Insights for Transformative Success" and Dr. Martin F. Köhler (Audi AG, Head of Innovation Management) will speak on "Drive the Future – How Can Corporates Adapt in Times of Rapid Transformation?".
