PROMOS - The DAAD program to increase mobility

The German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) supports the program "PROMOS" with funds from the Federal Ministry of Education and Research (BMBF).

The program promotes the mobility of students and doctoral candidates at German universities. The funding is provided to the KU for independent implementation and handling of the funding measures selected by the university.

PROMOS 2024 call for applications for study trips abroad

Funding can be provided for study trips (worldwide) of students or doctoral candidates of a maximum duration of 12 days. The trip must be accompanied by at least one university representative. The funding period starts on January 1, 2024 and ends on December 31, 2024. In addition to imparting subject-related knowledge and providing insight into the host country, the focus should be on meeting students and researchers. Trips with a predominantly touristic program are not eligible for funding. Lecture or congress trips are also not eligible for funding.
