‘Questioning the familiar in Flight & Migration’

Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt & Center for Flight and Migration (ZFM)
in cooperation with ISEP
01 June - 29 June 2019

This 4-week intensive program at the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt offers a critical empirical introduction to questions about flight and migration from a social science perspective.

The program starts with a theoretical introduction to social science theory and a hands-on introduction to qualitative research methods. In both courses ISEP students work side by side with German students. ISEP students develop their own research questions and get the opportunity to conduct the small scale research project. The center for Flight and Migration organizes excursions and meetings with several regional key stakeholders. Students will take part in workshops and an intercultural open-air festival were they mingle and work together with international students, migrants and refugees.
