The Language Center at the Catholic University of Eichstätt–Ingolstadt
Foreign language knowledge is a key competence.
The growing international network in the sciences, economy, and culture as well as the mobility of students due to exchange programs and common cross-national projects make it necessary to have a good command of several foreign languages. Moreover, the EU has declared the promotion of multilingualism to be one of the fundamental principles underlying European language politics.
The Language Center at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt is one of the main institutes of the university, and it considers itself a center of service for the entire university. The Language Center is responsible for foreign language education in Modern Languages faculties and for general foreign language education for students of all faculties and for the School of Management in Ingolstadt. The main object is to improve the student’s language skills and therefore prepare them for study or intership visits abroad and also to strengthen their communicative competence in foreign languages.
The Language Center at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt offers to all students the possibility to learn and to improve foreign languages.
