Invitation | 3rd NeMiF-Day on December 3, 2021

The Bavarian Research Network “Netzwerk Migrations- und Fluchtforschung Bayern" (NeMiF) invites you to the 3rd digital conference "Critically Reflected | Controversially Debated: Concepts and Approaches in Migration Research" on December 03, 2021.

This year's event will also take place in digital form via Zoom.

Through an introductory keynote, a fishbowl discussion, and two roundtables, the conference aims to interactively reflect on methodical challenges in the research field of flight and migration as well as discuss the development and controversies around the terms "intersectionality" and "racism".

A special highlight this year will be a consultation and discussion format for interested young researchers. During the fishbowl discussion, especially young researchers will have the opportunity to discuss current questions of field access or the selection and application of methods in their ongoing or planned research projects with the invited speakers. If you are interested in discussing your research project and current challenges, please leave a note when you register and send us brief information about your project and the challenges you are facing.

We look forward to welcoming both familiar and new interested researchers from various disciplines to the digital space!
