"Science Snack": Participation despite Toleration?!

The "Science Snack" provides small research snacks. With this series, the ZMF presents its research projects.
 

New research project at the ZFM - Prof. Karin Scherschel and her colleague Marina Mayer are conducting research on municipal spaces for young people and young adults with tolerated status.

The research project, which is funded by the Mercator Foundation, empirically analyzes the participation of young tolerated persons in training and the labor market as well as the conditions under which their stay in the welcoming society becomes more stable.

Municipal studies are being conducted in two municipalities each in Bavaria, Hesse and North Rhine-Westphalia as part of a nationwide project in cooperation with the Düsseldorf University of Applied Sciences (Prof. Susanne Spindler, MA Sara Madjlessi-Roudi) and the Fulda University of Applied Sciences (Prof. Ilker Ataç, MA Felix Busch-Geertsema).
