Presentation of the study on "Family Education in the City of Augsburg"

On behalf of the City of Augsburg, the ZFG conducted a study in 2022 to evaluate family education services in Augsburg. The ZFG staff members Dr. Veronika Hecht and Jasmin Gotschke have now presented the central results to those responsible for the area of "family education" and the managers of the Augsburg family support centres.

In the period from January to March 2022, on the one hand, providers of family education services were surveyed about the organised and planned events and, on the other hand, parents were asked about their usage behaviour and their wishes in the area of family education. With these two surveys, a comprehensive data basis was created, on the basis of which five central fields of action for the further development of family education offers in Augsburg could be identified.

The results of the report form the basis for updating the family education concept of the city of Augsburg. This is to be presented to the public in 2023.
