The ZRKG is divided into three fields of research:

  Research focus I: Based on historical transformation processes – with a focus on mediality and practices

  Research focus II: Based on personal development processes – with a focus on personality formation, subjectification and questions of anthropology

  Research focus III: Based on contemporary challenges – with a focus on sociality and culturality in a post-secular context
