Finding the right program to study and the right university to do it is not an easy matter. It starts with the multitude of information sources available for prospective students: internet portals, study fairs, advice from friends and family.... Why not form your own impression?
At the KU Open Day and our Virtual Open Week in spring, degree programs, subject areas and KU institutions present themselves. Get answers to your questions from lecturers and students and participate in public lectures and guided tours around campus and the Library.
During our KU Taster Week in fall, you can attend regular courses as a guest. In addition, there will be campus tours by the Student Advisory Service and the University Communications department. Of course, you will also get the chance to try out the canteen and stroll around campus on your own.
The KU Open Day takes place every year shortly after the start of the summer semester in April/May. You can find out the exact date on our website each fall. Or you can subscribe to our newsletter - then you will receive all information and dates in time and conveniently via mail.
This year, we were able to digitally welcome 1000 interested people on , the open day was also held only as a digital study information day. All the more reason for us to look forward to hopefully welcoming you back in person to the campuses in Eichstätt and Ingolstadt in the spring of 2023.
Traditionally, in November around Buß- und Bettag, the KU offers prospective students the opportunity to get an insight into the University and campus life. Lecturers then open the (virtual) doors to their classrooms and allow prospective students to get a taste of lectures and seminars. You can also talk to KU students at the information booth or take part in guided tours around campus.
You can usually find the concrete list of offers on our website from mid-October. If you don't want to miss anything, simply subscribe to our newsletter for prospective students.
The KU Eichstätt-Ingolstadt also presents its diverse range of Bachelor's, Master's and Teacher Training courses at regional and nationwide study fairs.
You will find the KU at student fairs, at university information days and fairs for prospective Master’s students.
