Library Christmas Break
The University Library will be closed from 24 December 2025 to 4 January 2026.
On 5 January 2026, the Main Library and the Branch Library Ingolstadt will be open until 5 p.m. The departmental libraries Ulmer Hof and Aula will remain closed. On this day, only emergency services will be available, i.e. the reading rooms will be open, but no other services will be provided.
On 6 January 2026 (Epiphany), the University Library will be closed.
From 7 to 10 January 2026, the Main Library will be open until 8 p.m. during the week and from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday. The Branch Library Ingolstadt will be open until 6 p.m. during the week and will be closed on Saturday. The departmental libraries Ulmer Hof and Aula will be open on Wednesday and Thursday from 9 a.m. to 7 p.m., on Friday only until 5 p.m. and closed on Saturday.
On 22 and 23 December, the Branch Library Ingolstadt will be open until 6 p.m., the Main Library until 8 p.m. and the departmental libraries Ulmer Hof and Aula until 5 (22) 7 (23) p.m.
From 12 January 2026, the regular opening hours will apply.

Guidelines for the use of personal lockers on the Ingolstadt campus
- A limited number of personal lockers (long-term lockers) are available at the WFI Ingolstadt School of Management for students who are in the process of preparing their qualification theses such as Bachelor's or Master's theses (and also for other qualification theses if sufficient lockers are available). Use is free of charge. There is no entitlement to a personal locker. In general, students can only occupy one personal locker at the same time.
- Personal lockers are assigned by library staff of the Branch Library Ingolstadt during the service hours. Confirmation by the Examinations Office or Chair regarding the qualification work and its expected duration is a prerequisite for the allocation of the personal locker and must be presented to library staff when applying for a locker.
- As a rule, personal lockers are only allocated to members of the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. Justified exceptions will be approved by the head of the Branch Library.
- In case of obvious non-usage or serious violation of the regulations for use, of the house rules or these guidelines, the authorization for use of the personal locker can be withdrawn before expiry of the agreed period.
- For the rest, the “Terms of use for lockers” dated April 4, 2023, shall apply.
