After completing her diploma studies in Geography at the Universities of Regensburg and Würzburg, Susanna Bloß worked for many years in the communications industry. As an editor for various print and online media, she focused on tourism and sustainable development. This thematic orientation was further deepened through practical engagements in reforestation projects and in the field of nature conservation management in Iceland.

In the winter semester of 2021/2022, Susanna Bloß decided to return to study and enrolled in the Master's program "Education for Sustainable Development" at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.

Since April 2024, Susanna Bloß has been a research associate at the Chair of Tourism.
