Personal Data
Miriam Elsässer studied Geography at the LMU Munich and completed her Bachelor’s degree in 2016. This was followed by the master's programme in "Tourism and Regional Planning – Management and Geography" at the Catholic University Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. In her master's thesis, she dealt with the impact of the understanding of nature on human-animal relations, analysing the opinion and acceptance of affected actors regarding the return of beavers to the district of Dillingen on the Danube. In doing so, she followed a type-building approach and developed different types of opinions on beavers, which should generate a deeper understanding of the existing situation.
