In accordance with §26 of the Basic Regulations, Women's and Equal Opportunity Officers pay attention to the avoidance of disadvantages for female and male scientists, female and male teaching staff and students; they support the university in the performance of its task to enforce the actual equality of women and men and to take this into account as a guiding principle.

The Sustainability Steering Group consists of committed employees from the faculties and the relevant science-supporting areas, as well as committed student university groups. They all support the sustainability officer in implementing the measures for more sustainability at KU.
