Welcome to the Chair of Christian Social Ethics and Social Policy

The Chair of Christian Social Ethics and Social Policy at WFI focuses on the ethical and social foundations of economic activity.

In teaching, practical courses such as Social Innovation I, Sustainable Entrepreneurship and Advanced Business Ethics are offered, which aim to develop entrepreneurial and social responsibility.

The professorship researches how action and service learning formats in the field of social innovation and entrepreneurship can contribute to the development of overarching competencies and the solution of real social challenges using AI tools and in cooperation with partners such as the Bayer Foundation.

Another research focus is on Female Impact Entrepreneurship in the Global South, analyzing the challenges and potentials of female entrepreneurs in underserved regions to gain a better understanding of their situation and develop targeted support strategies.

On the following pages you will find information on courses, research, the team and the Social Impact Start-up Academy (SISTAC). SISTAC is a non-profit organization that connects students with start-ups from the Global South and enables practical learning experiences in the field of social entrepreneurship.

We look forward to connecting with you and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
