Good timing to start studies at the Ingolstadt School of Management: New Master’s students welcomed

The KU’s faculty of business administration and economics, the Ingolstadt School of Management, welcomed its new Master's students with a "Fresher’s Day" on Wednesday. A total of 56 students start the Master's degree courses in Business Administration and Taxation at the Ingolstadt campus in the summer semester.

Dean Prof. Dr. André Habisch congratulated the new students on their decision to come to the Ingolstadt School of Management (WFI). The WFI - just like the entire KU - stands for personal support, a friendly atmosphere and small groups. Habisch motivated the Master's students to get actively involved in university life themselves and to enrich their studies individually by getting involved in one of the numerous student organizations.

In his welcoming address, Prof. Dr. Shashi Matta, Vice Dean for Internationalization, outlined the current changes in the economy, driven by the large topic of artificial intelligence. Especially in view of this change, now is a good time to start studying at the WFI – to experience and help shape the change.

Other important points of contact for the new students who presented themselves were the Catholic Campus Ministry (university chaplain Markus Sturm), the International Office, the career platform “WFI-Talente” and the Student Advisory Service at the Ingolstadt campus.

The event concluded with the traditional orchard festival, where the student representatives and the various student organizations presented themselves in a relaxed atmosphere.
