From October 9 through 31, 2026, the Ingolstadt Branch Library will have shorter hours.

Starting October 12, 2026, extended opening hours will once again be in effect at all University Libraries:

The reading room at the departmental library "Ulmer Hof" will be unavailable for studying and working on Monday, October 12, 2026, from 2 p.m. due to an internal event.

Borrowing and returning books will be possible as usual.

Get to know us and the KU libraries! We will give you an overview of our locations, show you where and how to find which books and other resources and give you an introduction to using the library.

To help students prepare for exams, the Ingolstadt Branch Library will stay open later during the week and will be open on one Sunday.

Since June, the new OPAC has been available as a beta version; with the decommissioning of the old OPAC on September 1, 2026, the final switch to opac-ub.ku.de will be complete.

Your favorites lists from the previous OPAC will be transferred to the new OPAC…
