Due to the extension of the lockdown in accordance with the recent decisions taken by the Bavarian Cabinet on January 06, 2021 in connection with the corona pandemic, the University Library will remain closed beyond January 10, 2021 until further notice.
We do not yet have any concrete information as to whether and in what form a pick-up service for ordered media will be permitted during the next weeks. We will inform you immediately about any changes on our homepage.
Digital offers
Please feel free to continue to make use of our comprehensive offer of e-books, e-journals and databases – available anytime, anywhere (you must enter your KU user ID for being able to use most of the services offered). The authentication options for accessing licensed electronic media of the University Library Eichstätt-Ingolstadt can be found under "Online access to e-media".
Returning books
No reminders will be send out during the closure of the University Library for media for which the loan period expires. These must only be returned after the Library reopens. In any case, please note the current loan periods or renewal options in your library account.
