University Library closed – Shipping possible

The University Library will remain closed until probably the end of January. On-site lending services are currently not available; KU members can have urgently needed books sent by mail free of charge.

In accordance with the current Bavarian Infection Protection Measures in connection with the Corona pandemic, the University Library will remain closed until further notice (initially until the end of January, according to current information).

For urgently needed literature – especially for final theses and research projects – we continue to offer KU members mail delivery. The KU will again, just as before Christmas, cover shipping costs for the delivery. By sending a corresponding e-mail to bibliothek(at)ku.de, you can have media from the Library stocks that you have ordered via OPAC sent to you. This also applies to interlibrary loans.

The University Library also offers a scanning service: Literature required for the preparation of theses can thus be sent to users digitally in parts. Details can be found on the library website from tomorrow.

Furthermore, please feel free to continue to make use of our comprehensive digital literature and media offer – available anytime, anywhere (authentication required for most of the services offered).
