After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, the Faculty of Economics at the partner university CEU San Pablo Madrid has resumed its traditional international seminars. At the eighth edition, twelve lecturers from Germany, Bulgaria, Mexico, the Netherlands, the Czech Republic and Sierra Leone visited the faculty, among them Felix Schulz, research associate at the Chair of ABWL and Business Informatics (Prof. Dr. Setzer) at WFI.
With his guest lecture "How does Amazon know what we want?", Felix taught students about modern recommendation generation techniques. He also participated in workshops to share research, innovation, and innovative methods, as well as talks on how to implement new international collaborative projects for faculty and students.
Furthermore, the guest lecturers had the chance to enjoy the culinary culture of Madrid as well as emblematic places such as the Sorolla Museum or a typical flamenco show.
