Professor David W. Stewart, Professor of Marketing and Law at Loyola Marymount University (Los Angeles, USA), was the Inaugural Recipient of the BESH Legacy Award for his impactful and sustained contribution to research that informs policy and serves society. Professor Stewart made a compelling speech on Privacy at the award ceremony on November 13, 2019 at the Historic City Hall in Ingolstadt where Ingolstadt Mayor Dr. Christian Lösel conferred him with this award.
The First Annual BESH Research Symposium was held on Wednesday 26, June 2019, at the WFI campus in Ingolstadt. The inaugural symposium featured four international scholars who presented their current research.
KU Research Institute for Business and Economics in Service of Humanity (BESH) was introduced to the public at a Grand Launch Event on Wednesday 26, June 2019. President of KU, Prof. Dr. Gabriele Gien, and honorable Mayor of Ingolstadt, Dr. Christian Lösel, formally launched BESH. Each of the four co-founders, Prof. Dr. Alexander Danzer, Prof. Dr. Jens Hogreve, Prof. Dr. Shashi Matta, and Prof. Dr. Simon Wiederhold talked about what BESH means to each of them and charted a future course for this young and ambitious research institute.
