Anja Kurasov Joins Our Team for Accreditation and the MBA

In June 2026, the chair welcomed Anja Kurasov as the new Manager for International Accreditation and the MBA Program. She takes on two tasks that will shape WFI over the coming years: maintaining the AACSB accreditation the faculty earned this year, and coordinating the Hybrid Part-Time MBA program.

Her work at the Chair

With AACSB accreditation in early 2026, WFI committed to demonstrating its standards in teaching, research, and administration on an ongoing basis. As Manager for International Accreditation, Anja Kurasov coordinates the regular reporting to AACSB, the Assurance of Learning system through which the faculty reviews its learning goals, and the preparation for the next review. As MBA Manager, she is the first point of contact for our MBA students, from application and on-campus weekends to the Global Immersion in Silicon Valley.

"AACSB accreditation is not a finish line, it is a commitment. My priority is to keep the standards we set for ourselves alive in the everyday work of the faculty, and to support each MBA cohort so that our students can truly succeed in their studies alongside their jobs and get the best experience at the WFI," says Anja Kurasov.

Her background

Anja Kurasov studied American Studies and Media Studies (B.A.) and European-American Studies (M.A.) at the University of Regensburg. During her studies, she spent several years as a research assistant at the Chair of American Studies and worked as a student employee at Audi Tradition, in the Audi museum mobile and the company archive. She brings experience in international collaboration, a careful hand with documents, and a real liking for organizing things. Her first big project is already behind her: Planning the WFI Summer School 2026.

We are delighted to have Anja Kurasov on the team and wish her a great start!
