Academic opinion and recommendation

We gladly support committed DFB students who are above-average and want to apply for scholarships, exchange semester etc. with an academic opinion or a recommendation letter.

Please consider the following prerequisites for such documents:

• The purpose of your intended application has to have something to do with the DFB like e.g. an application for a finance master-program.
• You attended at least two lectures we offer for our "Finance, Banking and Capital Market" major and finished the course with better than good.
  These are courses which are not compulsory for all bachelor students (This includes the "Proseminar" but not the lecture "Investition, Finanzierung und Kapitalmärkte")

Process:

 Academic opinion form

• Please hand in the application form (see above) at the responsible teaching assistant at the DFB, the relevant documents and an envelope directed to the receptor of the certificate (make sure it's stamped sufficiently)
• These documents should be send to the DFB as soon as possible but at least 3 weeks before the needed date.
• On basis of your document the DFB - team decides whether a positive recommendation can be made.
• If necessary the DFB asks you for further documents.
• Please understand that this process takes its time.
