Welcome to the webpage of the Chair of Logistics and Operations Analytics

Research and teaching at the Chair of Logistics and Operations Analytics WFI focuses on challenges and solutions in the fields of logistics, transportation and supply chain management. In particular, research activities concentrate on modern approaches to urban logistics and mobility, using innovative methods of artificial intelligence and data-driven approaches.

In teaching, courses such as Operations Research, Transportation Logistics and Supply Chain Management are offered, which provide students with in-depth knowledge in the optimization and analysis of logistics processes as well as in the application of advanced mathematical methods.

One of our current research projects is 'TransFairTarif' – a customer-centric, multimodal fare optimization for fixed-route and on-demand transport systems using artificial intelligence methods. Other research projects include the ROCOCO project, which deals with integrated cost and resource allocation between logistics service providers, and instance generators for the city logistics problem, which serve as a basis for further research work and enable the comparability of different solution methods.

On the following pages you will find information on current projects, courses offered, the team and relevant news.

We look forward to connecting with you and will be happy to answer any questions you may have.
