As part of the redesigned Bachelor program, the first semester now features the new lecture series “Business Essentials”, in which faculty members introduce students to different areas of business administration.
This week, Prof. Dr. Pirmin Fontaine and Simon Mader provided an introduction to logistics. Using the practical example of organizing a pizza night, students worked on tasks involving procurement, production, distribution, and transportation.
The session generated lively discussions and strong engagement. To conclude, the group put theory into practice during a visit to a local pizzeria.
