Welcome to the Chair of Supply Chain Management & Operations

The Chair of Supply Chain Management & Operations at WFI focuses on production and logistics, two of the central value creation processes in industrial and service companies. The aim is to provide a basis for economic decision-making in the areas of procurement, production, distribution and sales. 

The range of courses includes, for example, Operations Management, Operations Analytics, Supply Chain Analytics, Supply Chain Controlling, Retail Operations, Inventory and Logistics Management, Supply Chain Management as well as courses on the design and operation of production and logistics systems.

Research covers a wide range of topics, including the automotive industry, transportation planning and retail, in particular food retailing.
