New Sharing Information on Progress Report on the Principles for Responsible Management Education (PRME) by WFI

The Principles of Responsible Management Education (PRME) are the official UN ethics document for the responsible academic training of managers in business. WFI has been part of a network of signatory universities formed around the PRME for many years. Every two years, a report on progress made in the implementation of the PRME has to be prepared. The current progress report, which covers the period from August 2017, has now been finalized.

We are happy to present our activities and future perspectives to all persons of interest. During the reporting period, we have integrated topics of global social responsibility and sustainability more firmly in our study programs and in our research and transfer activities, e.g. through the establishment of the KU Research Institute for Business and Economics in Service of Humanity (BESH) or the project “Man in Motion” („Mensch in Bewegung“). New forms of cooperation have enabled us to develop innovative teaching formats, for example by bringing students together with social-impact start-up entrepreneurs in a new cooperation with the Bayer Cares Foundation and by participating in the nationwide "YES - Young Economic Summit" school competition.

We would like to invite you to contact us with any questions or comments concerning our current activities or future plans, and look forward to our continued work in implementing the PRME in research, teaching, academic self-administration and in our activities with partners and the broader public.
