The BSB-Burgundy School of Business enjoys an excellent reputation, as evidenced by its performance in rankings. My main topics at the summer school were leadership, creativity and innovation. Most of the seminars took place in "The Entrepreneurial Garden", which also functions as an incubator for the university and actively supports more than 40 student projects in their founding phase each year.
What I really liked was “Horse Coaching”, which allowed you to try your own leadership skills on a horse. With this unconventional method I learned a lot about myself. Another interesting topic was design thinking and the application of various creativity techniques; BSB sometimes uses the teaching methods developed at Stanford University. Finally, we were allowed to apply what we learned to a real case with a small local company.
I can fully recommend the BSB. As a partner university of WFI’s it is especially interesting for those who are considering a semester abroad in France.
