Prof. Dr. Ananth Krishnamurthy

Prof. Dr. Ananth Krishnamurthy, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, Troy, NY, USA is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Decision Sciences and Engineering Systems at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute (RPI), located in Troy, NY, USA. He obtained a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, India and a Masters degree in Manufacturing Systems Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison. He obtained his Ph. D. from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2002. His research focuses on topics including production inventory control, assembly operations, , material handling and warehouse systems, product variety, customization, lead time reduction, and quick response manufacturing.
