Tobias Fudickar, M.Sc.

Short Biography

Tobias is a doctoral candidate at the Chair of Innovation and Creativity at the WFI-Ingolstadt School of Management at the Catholic University of Eichstätt Ingolstadt (KU). He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration with specializations in Innovation & Technology and Strategic Organization from Ludwig-Maximilians University Munich (LMU) and a joint Master’s degree in Management & Technology from the Technical University Munich (TUM) and the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), with a major in Innovation & Entrepreneurship and a minor in Industrial Engineering. During his Master’s degree, he studied for one year in Copenhagen, Denmark.  

His research primarily focuses on innovation, strategy, and inter-firm collaboration. Mainly focusing on banks and fintech companies, he aims to guide practitioners by showcasing the relevance of theory in practice. 
Through his academic journey, he has explored open innovation on crowd-sourcing platforms, innovation in IoT communities, and platform management for good, primarily applying quantitative but also exploring mixed-methods approaches. 

He is currently working as an Innovation Manager in financial services. He is enthusiastic about all kinds of sports and enjoys music & comedy.
