‘The primary goal is to collaborate more closely with our partners, especially by developing joint projects, establishing a continuous exchange, and working on joint study programs,’ Vice President Stüwe explains. All of the institutions involved want to encourage their members to take advantage of the opportunities for international exchange in research and teaching provided by the consortium.
Alongside the meeting in Rome, a workshop was held on the topic ‘One Church, One World, One Mission: Internationalization and the Identity of Catholic Higher Education’ with speakers including Prof. Dr. Rainer Wenrich, director of the KU’s Center for Teacher Education and Education Research. The delegation from Eichstätt also included the director of the International Office, Dr. Martin Groos, who moderated one of the workshop sessions.
