The task of the Alumni and Fundraising Department is building and expanding on a central alumni and fundraising management structure at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt.

Alumni management

The major focus of the alumni management is building and strengthening the relationship between the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt (KU) and its alumni. The alumni management concentrates on setting up and maintaining a central alumni network to keep former students informed about current developments at the KU, to invite them to events such as University festive days or the alumni days, but also to create space and possibilities for networking activities among alumni and KU students.

The network also serves the purpose of maintaining the connection of former graduates to their University, which lays the foundation for long-term contact. In this way, the KU can offer continuing education for its alumni or alumni can get active as KU ambassadors, mentors, guest speakers or mediators within the career networks (internships etc.).

Fundraising management

The field of fundraising has the aim of establishing and expanding on funding acquisition and fundraising for strengthening and advancing the teaching and research activities at the Catholic University of Eichstätt-Ingolstadt. One central task is, for example, to acquire funding bodies for the ‘Deutschlandstipendium’. The Alumni and Fundraising Department is the central point of contact for all members of society who would like to support the KU in attaining its goals by providing respective funding.
