In late fall 2020, the time had come: after lengthy preliminary planning, a so-called “body weight station” was set up at the University Sports facility at Seidlkreuz.
This is a system of permanently mounted equipment that allows for extensive full-body training using one's own body weight.
The sports system, which was designed according to sports science principles, has been approved by TÜV and is equipped with fall protection. It consists of pull-up bars at various heights, converging parallel bars, a hanging ladder, wall bars, a pull-up bar, a fingerboard, and much more.
Thanks to QR codes attached to the system and the following YouTube video, even “beginners” can learn how to use the equipment most effectively.
Variation and progression in the execution of the exercises provide ever-changing stimuli. At the same time, fresh air and sunshine have a positive effect on body and mind.
Apart from the training times during the official training courses, the training facilities can be used at no additional cost during the sports center's regular opening hours. The sports team wishes you lots of fun and great fitness gains!

If you are interested, you can rent a canoe at the sports office for a date of your choice (please call in advance: +49 8421/9321756). The costs listed below must be paid in advance in cash. The sports office will also tell you when you can pick up and return the boat, including the necessary equipment (paddles, buoyancy aids, barrels if required). Due to nature conservation regulations, it is only permitted to paddle with the current, not against it. The KU does not offer a boat transport service. Transportation from the KU storage location to the water and back is the responsibility of the person borrowing the boat.
The following boats are available:
Liability:
The KU, the University Sports Center, and its employees accept no liability. A liability waiver must be confirmed in writing by the respective user before taking the boat with them. It is recommended that you take out private liability insurance.
The University draws particular attention to the sport-specific precautions and safety aspects. These can be found in detail on the Internet at
www.kanu.de or www.kanu-bayern.org.
Please note that there is no insurance cover here, as this is not an official University Sports course.
