Starting in the 2022/23 winter semester, the courses offered by the Professorship will generally be offered either with a focus on “Comparative Regional History” (in the winter semester) OR with a focus on “History of the Early Modern Age” (in the summer semester). This applies to the specific courses (introductory seminar with reading course); advanced courses (advanced seminars) and the lecture offered in the winter semester are not affected
If an introductory seminar on Early Modern History is offered, no credit for Regional History can be earned; conversely, no credit for Early Modern History can be earned in introductory seminars on Regional History.
Please note the course numbers, which indicate the respective focus.
If, in addition to this rule, further introductory seminars can be offered or if the seminar topic allows for other focuses, this will be announced in good time.
Information on the courses is available in the commented course catalog of the subject area History.
