KU Connect
KU Connect is a project funded by the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD) and your companion for degree seeking students of all degree courses guiding you throughout the entire span of your studies, from study and administrative preparations prior to your stay in Germany until the end of your studies when you step into the German labor market. We will provide you with an all-encompassing list of interdisciplinary services to ensure that you successfully complete your studies at Katholische Universität Eichstätt-Ingolstadt and that you acquire all the necessary knowledge and skills to increase your employability for the German job market. We'll help you gain academic, professional and personal competences so that you are able to study, work and live in Germany with ease.
Focused support and integration of international students into the German labor market
Observations of the past few years show that a large proportion of our non-German degree-seeking students face enormous difficulties at the end of their studies in terms of setting foot in the German job market. The reasons are rooted in insufficient German language proficiency or unmet (personal) expectations - both from students and potential employers. This country-wide phenonmenon of a more or less bumpy integration into the German professional world, paired with the ubiquitous lack of skilled workforce, prompted the DAAD to initiate the funding program "FIT" in order to promote academic success and labor market integration of international talents in Germany.
