Christmas Break

The University Library will be closed from December 24, 2025 to January 4, 2026.

From December 22, 2025 to January 11, 2026, there will be different opening hours.

If you need books over the Christmas break, please remember to borrow them in good time. Please note:

If possible, order books from the ZB magazine by December 17, 2025 so that we can have them ready for you to pick up in time.

Orders from our departmental libraries and the external magazine Rebdorf may take up to a week. Books from all reading rooms can be taken from the locations themselves and borrowed immediately.

Closing days and shortened opening days of the University Library are not counted toward the loan period. The loan period will end on January 13, 2026, at the earliest. You can check the deadlines for the timely return of your borrowed items or extend the loan period in your OPAC user account.
