Chair of Social and Health Pedagogy

The Chair of Social Pedagogy is dedicated in research and teaching to the different lines of tradition and understandings of social and health pedagogy. On this basis, current and historical concepts as well as theoretical approaches to pedagogical action are reflected and taught against the background of social and societal issues and developments. The central focus is on resource-oriented support and the empowerment of people in their respective environments. Students acquire essential qualifications for professional activities in the various fields of social and health education.
