Activities

The Institute jointly organises courses, workshops and a weekly research colloquium featuring public lectures. Students benefit from interdisciplinary seminars, excursions and research-based teaching projects, as well as from the new AntikePLUS study profile, which brings together the disciplines of Ancient Studies.

For school pupils and others interested in antiquity, we offer information days, guided tours and introductory lectures. We also make our research findings accessible through exhibitions, short videos and podcasts.

To support early-career researchers, the Institute annually awards a prize for an outstanding degree thesis or academic qualification thesis in one of its fields of study.
