The research center offers doctoral candidates a platform of a structured doctoral program and thus particularly promotes interdisciplinary exchange at a high academic level. Doctoral candidates are supported in their work by mentors from the research center. The program offers doctoral candidates at the KU who work with scientific methods the opportunity to gain further qualifications.

The following aims shall be achieved with the graduate program in the research center of advanced studies Natural Sciences – Human and Nature: Creating uniform interdisciplinary standards for the training of doctoral candidates by providing structured training offers.

In addition, the research center supports the work of doctoral candidates by providing funding. Upon application, it is also possible to be awarded a scholarship for a limited period of time to be able to complete advanced work.
