The 3rd ZRKG Conference examines discourses on crisis within the tension between openness and defensiveness, reflecting on how these interact with structural changes in the public sphere(s). The question of controversies and content is linked to issues of mediality and discourse formats, the culture of debate, and the ways in which conflicts are resolved. The conference is interdisciplinary in nature and seeks to foster exchange between disciplines in order to gain multi-perspective approaches to the topic.
