Master English/American Studies

More than just English: In the Interdisciplinary Master’s program, you’ll explore the literature, culture, and linguistics of the English-speaking world and flexibly combine English and American Studies with other subjects. A program that you can tailor to your interests and that prepares you for a wide range of career paths.

Admission & application

To enroll in this degree program, you must submit an application directly through the KU university portal. The application deadline is September 1. If you earned your university entrance qualification abroad, please also submit your preliminary review documentation by July 15—also through the same portal.

Campus Eichstätt

Eichstätt combines a Baroque old town with canoe trips on the Altmühl River, open-air movies in the summer, and festivals such as the Altstadtfest and the Lichternacht—here, everyday student life meets a genuine zest for life.

Accommodation and living

Finding a place to live is part of planning for uni – whether it’s a dorm, a shared apartment, or your own apartment. Anyone coming to Eichstätt or Ingolstadt to attend uni should start looking for housing early.

Financing your studies
