This area focuses on interdisciplinary discourse. Our students can choose from several lecture series in which representatives of various disciplines examine a topic from different perspectives. They learn to adopt a position on controversial topics and issues and to argue in favor of them on the basis of their own convictions, while treating other views with respect that is grounded in a pluralistic outlook. Speakers in the lecture series include renowned scientists from various universities, but also representatives of socially relevant institutions and public figures.
